The magic trick in the architect's design is that the glass walls disappear completely, seamlessly integrating the garden into the living space. For this outdoor space in the San Francisco family home of Ruchi Sanghvi and Aditya Agarwal, architecture studio The Archers collaborated with Studio Claudy Jongstra. The artist created a massive woollen carpet made of rare Drenthe heath sheep's wool, dyed with natural colours. The soft and warm saffron-coloured carpet looks like a huge golden field of wheat that defines the space and connects to the green garden.
